Never heard of me? Pilot wins AVA Digital Award

Pilot PMR’s Siri Agrell won a Platinum AVA Digital Award for her volunteer work with the David Soknacki mayoral campaign in 2014.

The campaign’s “Never heard of me?” Twitter shareable caught fire during the 2014 Toronto municipal election, earning widespread attention in a crowded field and helping to position the candidate as the smart, surprising and media-savvy campaign to watch.

The AVA Digital Awards is an international competition administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. It recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication.

The Platinum Award is presented to those entries judged to be among the most outstanding submissions in the competition. Platinum winners are recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity and resourcefulness. Just 15 per cent of winners received this award.
