Why we bought a farmers’ market
We know strong brands find and connect with their audiences through shared values. In other words, by creating a sense of community. For almost twenty years, our team have been connecting with one another through food. Pilot Lunch is a tradition – 246 sit downs together and counting! A vegetable garden in our courtyard. So, when Cabbagetown Farmer’s Market found itself in need of new leadership, we stepped up. Making it our own has been a terrific experience. One that draws on our talents from time to time, and reflects our values daily. “Tuesday is market day!” has become the signature sign-off for our morning status calls. And meeting up there has become one more way we’ve found to connect in a hybrid world.
